what is your session fee & what does it cover?
The session fee is $175, covering a Zoom consultation, professional makeup for full-day shoots, and a custom portrait session in-studio or outdoors at 1-2 locations. Full-day sessions are longer than the standard 45-60 minute headshot sessions.
Final costs vary as we design your perfect package together. Images can be purchased with one of our packages.
What about headshots?
The headshot session fee remains $175 and now includes two professionally edited, magazine-quality images. These sessions are exclusively conducted in-studio on Sundays and Mondays, designed to last between 45 minutes to an hour. You'll have the opportunity to select your preferred headshots immediately after the session, and you can purchase additional images if desired. Ready to elevate your professional image? When is the best time to book?
Book early to secure the date that you want for your preferred season. The recommended time for booking is 2-4 months in advance. We typically fill up our schedule pretty quickly at the beginning of each season and sell out our dates early on.
HOW LONG DO THE SESSIONS LAST, & WHEN DOES IT START?
Outdoor sessions typically start 3-4 hours before sunset or in the morning around 9am: 1 hour for makeup, and 2-3 hours for photography and travel.
HOW MANY OUTFITS DO WE BRING? WHERE DO WE GO FOR OUR PHOTOSHOOT?
Our pre-session consultation will cover all these details.
Do you retouch my portraits?
Once you’ve chosen your favorites at the ordering appointment, each of them will get a professional retouch. Mild acne, acne scars, redness, bruising and blemishes will all be taken care of.
what if I want wall art?
A Product Guide will be provided and you’ll have all the details to make the product selection process a breeze. Photography products including wall art will be purchased at the ordering appointment and can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to be delivered.
All images that are chosen for Wall Art will get special treatment via “Master art edit” prior to me placing an order. Master art edits are included complimentary with all wall art.
All wall Art will be delivered and installed by me or a member of my crew free of charge.
Is makeup & hair offered?
YES! Makeup Artistry is standard with every session! It takes about an hour to complete prior to your session. Hair artistry is an added service and is an additional cost.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR SHOOT, your hair (if requested) and makeup will be done by a member of our glam squad. You should have your face clean and moisturized, and your hair dry and ready to be heat styled when you arrive. Make sure to wear loose-fitting clothing or a lightweight robe while getting makeup done and let us know in advance if you have any skin allergies at all. .
What if I don’t want makeup & hair done?
Every Anna Bauman Photography experience includes professional makeup application with lashes...and for good reason. Nothing puts a damper on perfectly posed/lit/composed images like a bad makeup job. Simply put, because I want the best possible outcome of your portrait experience, professional makeup application is key! Every day makeup often doesn't translate on camera the way it looks in person. Photo shoot makeup is slightly heavier, with a touch more contouring and highlighting to make your skin look amazing at every angle.
With that being said, my absolute FAVORITE portrait makeup look is the no-makeup makeup look. It is still a full face of makeup and there are loads of steps that go into perfecting the way your skin looks for the camera. No-makeup makeup look is achieved by covering blemishes and under eye circles, applying subtle highlights in all the right places, and still applying a natural false lash, as lashes tend to get lost in photos. It looks amazing on EVERYONE and adds a REAL element to the finished product. The no-makeup-makeup look really translates well on just about everyone.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept checks, cash, and credit/debit cards. Most times you’ll be sent an invoice that can be paid using any payment of your choice including PayPal.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
The turnaround time between the photoshoot and your ordering Zoom session is typically around 3 business days. Digitals are delivered within 7 days of the ordering. Products are typically delivered 2-3 weeks after the ordering session.
